The extension and refurbishment of this Grade II listed building included the opening up of half of the existing house to form a full atrium with galleried staircase, and the addition of the two-storey rear extension. All the ground floors were removed and replaced, and the roof re-covered and extended fully in keeping with the original. The new staircase is an important feature of the completed property, with an elliptical rooflight above.
